Patru noi contracte de închiriere pe Platforma Curtici: BERENZ SPEDITION S.R.L. revine în Zona Liberă Curtici-Arad

Four new lease agreements on the Curtici Platform: BERENZ SPEDITION S.R.L. returns to the Curtici-Arad Free Zone

Arad, 27 October 2026

R.A. Administrația Zonei Libere Curtici-Arad (the Curtici-Arad Free Zone Administration) signed four lease agreements today with BERENZ SPEDITION S.R.L. The agreements cover 3,036 sq m of warehouses and 1,165 sq m of concrete platforms on the Curtici Platform. Signing four contracts at once is a rare result in the Administration's recent history.

The agreements were signed by Mr. Romulus Tănăsescu, General Director of the Curtici-Arad Free Zone Administration, and Mrs. Cornelia Guset Berenz, Managing Director of BERENZ SPEDITION S.R.L. The initial lease term is 13 months. The spaces will be used for storage and warehousing logistics. BERENZ SPEDITION S.R.L. is well known in the customs field and will also provide customs brokerage services for this activity.

The signing ceremony took place at the Administration's headquarters. It was attended by Dr. Andrei Andó, Chairman of the Board of Directors and representative of the supervisory public authority on the Board, and by specialists of the Free Zone Administration.

“An institution that both our partners and our supervisory authority can rely on”

General Director Romulus Tănăsescu thanked his colleagues for their commitment and for completing the project in a very short time:

“I am confident that this partnership with BERENZ SPEDITION S.R.L. will be long-lasting, successful and good for both sides. It will also bring real value to Arad County, the Administration's supervisory public authority. This licensed activity is new and challenging for our partner. We wish them every success and offer our full support so they can achieve outstanding, lasting results. We remain open to new successful projects that move the Administration toward the goal it set from the start: to become an institution that both our partners and our supervisory authority can rely on.”

A return to the Free Zone, with long-term plans

Mrs. Cornelia Guset Berenz said she hoped for a successful partnership and recalled that the company had carried out projects in the Free Zone before:

“Leasing these warehouses and concrete platforms marks our return to the Curtici-Arad Free Zone. We want to help promote the Free Zone and Arad County on both the domestic and international markets. We also want to make real use of the customs and tax benefits of free zone status. This is the only free zone in western Romania, and it gives investors a road, rail and air link between non-EU countries and the European Union. We chose Arad because we are a local company. Over the years we have always promoted the advantages Arad County offers compared with the rest of the country.”

Mrs. Cornelia Guset Berenz said the company also has future plans for the Airport Platform of the Curtici-Arad Free Zone and hopes to put them into practice soon. She added that she hopes the lease on the Curtici Platform will be extended, so the business can continue in the long term.

“A unique achievement in the Administration's recent history”

Dr. Andrei Andó thanked BERENZ SPEDITION S.R.L. for its trust and wished the company success. He also thanked the executive management and the specialists of the Free Zone Administration:

“In a short time, the team finalized the four lease agreements signed today, a unique achievement in the Administration's recent history. I am confident this success will be repeated. That way, the Curtici-Arad Free Zone Administration will reach its strategic goals: more tenants and concessionaires, higher occupancy, higher turnover and profit, and more activity in the zone. All of this strengthens the good and fair image of Arad County.”
